On Episode 169 of the Section 10 Podcast, Coley and I are coming to you live from Frankie Borrelli’s hotel room bed at 4 o’clock in the morning. Last night, Dave, Kayce, Frankie and I went to the Red Sox game. They lost. After the game, Frankie, Kayce and Dave went clubbing, while Coley and I went to the mecca of Fenway Park postgame adult beverage consumption.

What happened from there was recounted in this podcast. Jonny Gomes showed up at one point, and he makes a guest appearance in this one. I had left my bag with my laptop and microphone in Frankie’s hotel room, so I went back to his room at about 3 AM to retrieve it, waking him from his slumber, as Coley and I decided to record the podcast in his bed with him as a guest until the wee hours of the morning. Frankie tells the story of how he met Hanley Ramirez, and how Dave got put in the WAY back at the club.

We also discuss Rick Porcello’s recent struggles, Chris Sale tying a career high in strikeouts and not getting the win, the Taco Bell drive thru videos are back, David Price’s return after missing his start against the Yankees, and fake Red Sox prop bets in light of the legalization of gambling.

Down in the DM — Is Coley sitting down? What is your favorite piece of Red Sox gear? Do you think players are too dramatic when they dodge a ball? With this past Sunday being Mother’s Day, have you guys ever fantasized about one of your friends’ moms? What would Hanley’s career be if he wasn’t an MLB player? Who would win a classic 10-out Home Run Derby on this Red Sox team at Fenway? Listener wants to know if he should stop watching Red Sox games because they won when he didn’t watch. Caitlyn the fiancée checks back in and gives us a shoutout, says she’ll do a little something for Matt.
